Started using Drake Dental last year, and it has been a great experience. The office space is always clean and very nice. Morgan was my dental hygienist today, and she was very personable and kind. She answered all my questions and talked me through my treatment. Dr. Mallory did the assessment and was thorough and straight forward. He offered assistance with any questions, and was kind. Thank you Drake Dental!!!

I’m very always had a great experience at Drake Dental (portage location). The entire staff is super friendly, they have state-of-the-art equipment (no more painful ex-rays) and they take patients on time. Amanda, my favorite hygienist, is kind and gentle but also very thorough and competent. I highly recommend this practice.

I had my first visit the other day and it went well. Morgan was my hygienist and she was amazingly welcoming. She was also gentle when cleaning my teeth. I saw Dr Mallory who checked my teeth and same goes for him as he was very welcoming and friendly. When scheduling my next appointment I found it was interesting that they are booking a year out (which is odd when you should get your teeth cleaned every 6 months) but Morgan was able to find me a slot within 7 months and also scheduled my visit for after that 6 months later so that I do get on a 6 month schedule.

Nicole was great - super friendly and professional. Clear communication on next steps, and how to make some changes to improve my oral health. She also booked me for my next two cleanings which was nice to have them both on the books for 2026. Drake Dental is my new dentist, and so far every visit has exceeded my expectations from front office staff, hygienists, to the dentists.

I can’t say enough good things about Amanda. She eased my son’s nerves by being so patient and friendly. She explained everything in a way he could understand and made the whole cleaning process fun and stress free. He actually looked forward to his next visit. I left feeling like my smile was in great hands, my teeth never felt cleaner!! We both had a wonderful experience and I’d highly recommend Amanda…..she truly cares about her patients.

Drake Dental is an outstanding dentists office! We have always been impressed with the professionalism of the front desk staff, hygienists and dentists at both offices. Today I met Amanda who did a great job with my regular cleaning and was also easy to talk to and gave me some helpful hygiene advice. I have a tendency to use too much pressure on my electronic toothbrush (lighten up) and floss that’s not a good fit for my tight spaces (use the flat smooth glide kind), and hopefully I will stop causing the recession in my gumlines. No one likes Recessions! I look forward to going back in six months, despite my typical anxiety over the process. It will be a piece of cake, nothing to see here except smooth, shiny smiles.

More fun than a root canal! Seriously part of my treatment was to get a root canal from a place down the street. Not fun. Nothing against the root canal guys. But the closer you get to the front of your mouth...I hate dentists only because sometimes the needle hurts like hell. Get the nitrous its 20 buck and worth it. I have probably 20 grand in my mouth. Dont lie take care of your teeth or at least be honest. I have 30+ years of PTSD and dont like anything. I dont like violations of my personal space. It its required or die from it. Get over it. Go here. Trust me. I have a back crown coming up from grinding. They dont judge. My cleaning is in February. I'll be there and I hate it. Hate like hate hate, but I'll keep the appointment. I'll be getting the crown.Update 6-19-25 still 5 stars!Update 8-28-25Still 5 stars I have to get nitrous because of anxiety with needles in my mouth. The lady that did my needles was fantastic I did not feel a thing. Went in for a crown and a filling. 4 hours later just slight pain. See you guys in a year or so when my insurance resets. Wont be going anywhere else.

My family has had great experiences with this office. Everyone is super kind and welcoming!After going through chemo, I had issues with my gum health. My hygienist, Bianca, was so sweet and knowledgeable! She gave me recommendations for products to help, and my gums looked a lot better the next visit.My kids have had great experiences with Morgan, the hygienist. She was super nice, and very kid friendly. I could tell that my kids instantly fell at ease with her.The girls at the check out desk are always bubbly and helpful!I would definitely refer any of my friends or family here. They do a great job!

I went in for a small filing and Dr Mallory and the dental assistant Brandy were awesome!! 🤩 They talked to me and made my experience so warm and welcoming! It was not the usual stuffy dentist office vibe. I even got a blanket to use while I was there as every time I get the anesthesia I get cold!! 🥶 I will definitely go back and request him every time!!

The building is beautiful and the front lobby staff was so nice! Lia & Nicole were phenomenal at caring for myself and my two daughters. As new patients, they were friendly, inviting & informative. Dr. Mallory was fantastic and spoke in a way that was so welcoming as a patient. Very excited to be new patients of this practice- will be bragging about it to anyone who asks me for recommendations.
