More fun than a root canal! Seriously part of my treatment was to get a root canal from a place down the street. Not fun. Nothing against the root canal guys. But the closer you get to the front of your mouth...I hate dentists only because sometimes the needle hurts like hell. Get the nitrous its 20 buck and worth it. I have probably 20 grand in my mouth. Dont lie take care of your teeth or at least be honest. I have 30+ years of PTSD and dont like anything. I dont like violations of my personal space. It its required or die from it. Get over it. Go here. Trust me. I have a back crown coming up from grinding. They dont judge. My cleaning is in February. I'll be there and I hate it. Hate like hate hate, but I'll keep the appointment. I'll be getting the crown.

The Drake Dental staff is wonderful and knowledgeable!! They always address my concerns and make sure I am happy with my treatment. Same day crowns are absolutely awesome and save me time by not requiring me to schedule a return visit! Would 10/10 recommend!!

I’ve been going to this office for a couple of years now & it’s honestly the best dentist office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Welburn is so attentive, kind, and she really goes above and beyond for her patients! I always feel comfortable when I visit & the entire staff is welcoming and pleasant.Taylor, RDH, however, is my absolute favorite hygienist! I just had my yearly cleaning & it didn’t even feel like it. She was both gentle, thorough and helped my appointment go by with ease. My mouth feels amazing! They are so professional and I’ve already referred my family & friends to this office lol if you’re not going here, just make the switch!

Dr. Allen across town scared me as a child (there’s nothing wrong with him lol) so I moved practices when Dr. Duffy when she started her own. Have been with her ever since (~18 years). She is a gem and her staff is nothing but kind and helpful.Edit: one huge downside, practice does not take state/gov. insurance; I had to find a new dentist after 26.

On 18 April I had a tooth pulled. I dreaded it because most of my past dealings with a dentist has been painful to say the least. But at this appointment I felt no pain at all. My family and I have been coming to Drake For over a decade and we drive an hour to get there. My daughters and I seriously look forward to our appointments!The office itself is beautifully designed with top notch technology. Unlike My past experiences at other dentist offices-with outdated tools and painful cleanings, my experience at Drake is night and day. They even fixed a filling on my daughter that a past dentist did!What truly sets this place apart is the fact that it's female-owned and run.Dr. Katherine is so knowledgeable and has a gentile approach. I always know I’m going to get the best care.If you're looking for a place where you'll get top notch care look no further. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I didnt go to the dentist for several years out of fear+ from past bad experiences. I finally went back this year and had a great experience with the staff here, they're really patient and kind and the office is really clean and bright. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. João Najar is a great dentist so qualified and friendly too. Dr. Najar’s team is excellent, and helpful, and answered all my questions.It’s so important to have reliability to the dentist and this is a reason my family and I treat him. Dr. Najar is outstanding and I recommend it.

Wonderfully professional staff: front office, scheduling, billing, as well as techs and doctors; everyone does their job flawlessly. The environment provides privacy and their treatment approach serves to keep you as informed and anxiety free as possible. This office is great! I felt like I was at a spa. It's super clean. Staff are efficient and concise. Alex was my hygienists and he explained everything and was gentle and friendly. Check in and out was easy. No services were pushed on me. Def going to continue coming here!

I hate the dentist and usually avoid it. Now that I have good dental insurance I decided to take control of my dental health and get back on track. Drake dental has been wonderful! They make you feel so comfortable, the free nitrous doesn't hurt either 😉 but everyone I've met in the office has been so kind and comforting I really couldn't ask for a better experience. Plus it's gorgeous in there 😍 highly recommended

Drake dental is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! Andrea is the best cleaner I’ve ever had she never once hurt my teeth or gums which is always my top concern. I also had to get my first filling here and they made it go incredibly smooth! Even though I’m out of state now I’d definitely go back if I’m ever visiting again!

I am a new patient here. My first visit was my post-COVID cleaning, 12 months overdue. The staff was amazingly friendly and put me at ease. In less than 48 hours, my teeth were clean ("look Mom, no cavities!"), my front chipped tooth was repaired, and I had new night-time retainers in my hands. I recommend you support this business.

Drake Dental South is one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. Everyone from the receptionists and dentists were very pleasant and extremely professional! They took my x rays, identified several issues I was having on top of the issue I came in for and gave me everything I need to stay healthy! After yet another great experience from visiting Drake Dental, I figure it’s time I finally write a review about this wonderful office!...My family of 4 have been patients at Drake dental for the past 4 years. Their staff is very welcoming and kind. Our kids have had fillings done and the staff has been great at soothing their anxiety and getting the procedure done in a timely manner. We’ve seen all 3 doctors multiple times over the years and they’re all very knowledgeable & professional. We are always impressed with the care we receive each visit. We highly recommend this dentist office!

I had to get a filling and had anxiety about it, but the assistant, Kelli, made sure I was taken care of while Dr.Vandenburgh completed the filling. The procedure was swift, and I didn't feel any pain. Also, this dental office is extremely nice and clean. I would 100% recommend this to people.
