The people that work at Drake Dental make it worth it. I really love the hygienists and Dr Welburn! It can be tough to schedule at times, but if you’re flexible they will squeeze you in! Highly recommend.

The reception are quick to get you checked in and they are very friendly and they all greet you with a smile and Brandy, the dental assistant is very polite and explains everything to where I can understand. The Dentist is very kind. They all make you feel comfortable while you being treated

Dr. Mallory and Brandy were absolutely wonderful with my 9 year old daughter today. She had two fillings and was very nervous. They explained every step and answered every question. They were so patient with her. It was her first experience with nitrous oxide and she was afraid of something new. Very professional every step of the way! We love drake dental! Thanks team!

Amanda is had great control with the instruments and was very thorough with the cleaning. I would recommend using her again.Drake Dental, seems to be under staffed because the next available apt is one year away. Topical cleaning schedule is every six months.

Going to the Dentist is not my favorite, but I go. Ideally, I want my teeth to be cleaned by a hygienist and feel like my teeth are new again. Yesterday my dental hygienist, Amanda, was thorough and I felt like my teeth were clean when I left. This morning, I got up and realized that some yellowing, that I had noticed so long I thought it would never be gone (I do have my appointments 2 x per year) was actually gone! Amanda had the patience and gentleness to rid my teeth of tartar that had developed when I was ill for an eight month span two years ago. Amanda, thank you for your diligence and professionalism. I recommend Drake Dental when people ask me and now Amanda is my hygienist!

I just had a cleaning at Drake Dental - Portage, and I need to specifically recommend my hygienist, Amanda.For me, dental cleanings are usually very challenging because I have extreme sensitivity that makes the whole process uncomfortable. Amanda was a total standout.She was highly professional and polite, but what really made the difference was how incredibly gentle and careful she was. She worked slowly and meticulously, constantly checking in to make absolutely sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the entire appointment. Her attention and careful technique made a typically stressful experience genuinely manageable.If you struggle with dental sensitivity or just appreciate a hygienist who prioritizes patient comfort, you should definitely book with Amanda. She's a fantastic, compassionate professional.
