More fun than a root canal! Seriously part of my treatment was to get a root canal from a place down the street. Not fun. Nothing against the root canal guys. But the closer you get to the front of your mouth...I hate dentists only because sometimes the needle hurts like hell. Get the nitrous its 20 buck and worth it. I have probably 20 grand in my mouth. Dont lie take care of your teeth or at least be honest. I have 30+ years of PTSD and dont like anything. I dont like violations of my personal space. It its required or die from it. Get over it. Go here. Trust me. I have a back crown coming up from grinding. They dont judge. My cleaning is in February. I'll be there and I hate it. Hate like hate hate, but I'll keep the appointment. I'll be getting the crown.Update 6-19-25 still 5 stars!Update 8-28-25Still 5 stars I have to get nitrous because of anxiety with needles in my mouth. The lady that did my needles was fantastic I did not feel a thing. Went in for a crown and a filling. 4 hours later just slight pain. See you guys in a year or so when my insurance resets. Wont be going anywhere else.Update 9 -2-26Still absolutely 5 stars. 6 cavities I'm getting older mouth breather snore. Had a great experience today as always. Studies have shown your oral health effects excema and alzheimer's. Take care of your teeth. They dont judge and will help you. I think it also affects your heart health. They do what is needed and write up recommended health plans. I told them if I thought I would l would this long I would have taken better care of my teeth and I'm just trying to get out of this life without dentures. They dont try to hard sell veneers or implants but if that's what you might want you can get that. I went without dental insurance for a long time and it sucked, but they work with delta dental and as long as I live within an hour I will drive to them. Thanks guys! Now I gotta go write a review for drake dental. Lol. But trust me. Top notch and I dont take the time to write reviews.

The office is always so easy to work with! I had Nicole as my hygienist and not only did she provide a very comfortable experience, but she is great to chat with and answered all of the questions that I had.

I’m very always had a great experience at Drake Dental (portage location). The entire staff is super friendly, they have state-of-the-art equipment (no more painful ex-rays) and they take patients on time. Amanda, my favorite hygienist, is kind and gentle but also very thorough and competent. Also, she fun to be around! I highly recommend this practice.

Drake Dental is my new dentist office. After 2 visits, I am extremely impressed with the staff and facilities. My 2 cleaning visits went smooth and painless. My former dentist retired and we are blessed that my wife found this place.

Drake Dental (Portage) is such a fantastic office! We started going there not long ago because our insurance changed. The office is so beautiful and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Nicole was my hygienist and she was great! She used a tool for my teeth cleaning that was so much better than the usual scraping. The dentist was also super friendly and personable. I can’t recommend this office (and Nicole) enough!

I have been afraid of dentists since I was a child. Drake dental has me wanting to go to the dentist.Some of the nicest people are working there. I recommend them all the time.Beautiful offices state of the art dental equipment and best of no pain.

Amanda was timely, professional, and incredibly personable! She kept me updated throughout the entire procedure while flawlessly handling her duties. I even accidentally bit down on her glove during X-rays, and she handled it with total grace and humor. Highly recommend her!

Had a great experience at Drake Dental today. My hygienist, Lexi, was friendly, professional, and did a thorough job with my cleaning. My two young daughters and I had a fantastic experience! Everyone at this office is so friendly. Amanda was our hygienist and was incredibly kind and gentle! Dr. Brendan Duffy did our exams for the first time and he was awesome! He was very thorough and had such a calm and lovely demeanor.

I had my teeth cleaned and it was a great experience. Lexi was very fast when taking X-rays, and the whole event was only 45 minutes. I’m definitely happy I changed dental offices recently. They also have lovelybench seats in their waiting room that are size inclusive. Much appreciated. Thank you!

First dentist visit since moving back home from Florida; it was such a smooth experience, and the hygienist and dentist were very friendly. Despite being 4 years since I visited a dentist, they were able to get my appointment done in an hour!
